Liz Aussenberg, M.A., CCC-SLP, received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas in 1980 and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from George Washington University in 1981. She has a strong interest in the medically involved patient, and began her career here in Houston at the U.T. Speech and Hearing Institute. Through that position she treated patients at TIRR, Herman Hospital and MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Liz has also worked with neumerous nursing home facilities throughout Houston, Project Head Start, and several private schools. Areas of expertise consist of infants through adults with neurogenic disorders, head and neck cancer, voice and fluency problems, cleft palate, oral motor deficits, swallowing disorders and Velophraryngeal Insufficiency.
