Speech and Language Groups

  • Benefits:

  • Pragmatics & Social Skills Groups (Preschool Age)
    • This small group environment will utilize creative play, hands-on activities and games to target improved turn-taking skills, sharing and use of age appropriate social language with peers. A positive experience for children with Autism.
  • Language Development Group
    • This small group environment will assist with improving your child’s language skills through games, drills, and creative play activities while targeting vocabulary, building grammar skills, sentence structure and pragmatics.
  • Articulation Groups
    • This small group environment will consist of games, hands-on activities and verbal drills all designed to meet the target speech sounds for that particular group. Transition to conversational speech will be a major focus.
  • Fluency Group (Stuttering)
    • This small group environment will assist with improving the participant’s confidence in a fun and relaxed environment while developing, implementing, and accurately utilizing strategies for fluent speech.

Nancy Foreman and Associates offers a wide variety of diagnostic and therapeutic services for the treatment of communication disorders in both adults and children. Our goal is to provide our patients with a comprehensive approach to intervention in a quality and caring environment. We emphasize a collaborative approach by combining an individualized therapeutic process for the patient with education for the family when appropriate.

A consultation with one of our certified Speech and Language Pathologists will determine if a screening test or in-depth diagnostic testing is needed at this time. If treatment is recommended, the needs of the individual will determine the plan and duration of treatment.
